To provide a dentifrice containing phytic acid and ameliorated in astringency and excellent in a skin-brightening effect.
SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition contains (A) 0.1-8 mass% of fitic acid or its salt and (B) 0.1-10 mass% of organic resin powder with an average particle size of 10-500 &mu m, and has viscosity of 10-300 Pa s wherein the organic resin powder is one or more kinds selected from polyolefin powder (selected from a polyethylene powder and a polypropylene powder) and polyamide powder.
