Disclosed are pyridine derivatives represented by general formula (I) or salts, tautomers, diastereomers and enantiomers thereof. Examples of the compounds of formula (I) include 4-benzyloxy-1-[2-oxo-2-(4-pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl-phenyl)-ethyl]-1H-pyridin-2-one, 4-(5-bromo-pyridin-2-ylmethoxy)-1-[2-oxo-2-(1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinolin-7-yl)-ethyl]-1H-pyridin-2-one and 4-(4-fluoro-benyloxy)-1-(2-[4-(4-hydroxy-piperidin-1-ylmethyl)-phenyl]-2-oxo-ethyl]-1H-pyridin-2-one. Also disclosed is the use of the compounds of formula (I) for treating metabolic disorders or eating disorders.
