An oxygen concentrating apparatus (100) comprising: oxygen concentration adsorption concentration means (110) that include: at least one adsorption column (10) formed by a hollow cylinder having first and second sockets , the interior of said hollow cylinder being filled with an adsorbent to selectively adsorb nitrogen instead of oxygen; a pressure air supply means (12) connected to the first intake of said adsorption column (10) and arranged to supply pressurized air to said adsorption column (10); an evacuation means (14) connected to the first outlet of said adsorption column (10) and allowing the evacuation of said adsorption column (10); and a switching means (16) for allowing said pressurized air supply means (12) and said evacuation means (14) to selectively communicate with said first outlet, said oxygen concentration means (110) being arranged pressure swing adsorption type to generate a gas with high oxygen concentration by repeating an adsorption process, in which said pressurized air supply means (12) supplies pressurized air to said adsorption column (10) to adsorb the nitrogen from said air, and a regeneration process, in which said evacuation means (14) depressurizes said adsorption column (10) to separate the nitrogen adsorbed by said adsorption column (10) to regenerate said adsorbent; a conduit (130) that communicates at one end with the second intake of said oxygen concentration means (110) and is arranged to introduce into a user the gas with high oxygen concentration generated by said concentration concentration means (110) oxygen from said second outlet; a means (140) for adjusting the flow rate provided in said conduit (130) and arranged to adjust the flow rate of the gas with high oxygen concentration generated by said oxygen concentration means (110); a pressure measuring means (122) arranged between said oxygen concentration means (110) and said flow adjustment means (140) in said duct (130) and a control means (150) for controlling at leas
