The present invention relates to a physiological information detection device and an operation method thereof. The detection device is provided with a passive communication module without power consumption in transmission function, which can not only save energy but also enhance convenience. In addition, the physiological information can be rapidly read while the detection device is approached by a mobile relay apparatus, such as a mobile phone, thereby having good efficiency. Under the regulation of the processing unit on the internal switching element, the transmission end and the detection end can share the same memory so as to further reduce cost and power consumption, and also to further miniaturize overall size of the device.
