An electromechanical toothbrush contains, installed in the housing (2) cavity of the handle thereof: a tooth processing unit (1), which is mechanically connected to an electric drive (3) and battery (8) which are installed in the housing (2). The tooth processing unit (1) is in the form of a shaft (4) with a removable attachment (5), said shaft being installed with the ability to rotate and partially protruding from the handle housing (2). The attachment (5) is affixed on the end of the shaft (4), which protrudes from the handle housing (2). A visor (6) is provided above the end of the shaft (4) which protrudes from the handle housing (2), said visor being connected to the handle housing (2) and corresponding to the length of the protruding portion of the shaft (4) including the attachment (5). The visor (6) takes the form of a profiled plate having an inner longitudinal protrusion (7) which protrudes far enough to allow same to come into contact with the peripheral portions of the surface of the attachment (5). The brush has the following distinguishing features.
