A method of manufacturing a vitreous product for the stabilization of a biological material comprising the steps of: i) mixing (a) a first liquid material comprising a biological material and capable of forming a glass, in which the first liquid material it comprises a glutamic acid or salt thereof, with (b) a second material that is a blowing agent that undergoes decomposition and forms a gas when heated, in which the second material comprises ammonium bicarbonate； and ii) cause the first material to form a glass at the same time as the second material forms the gas； wherein a glass structure in the form of particles containing the gas is formed in a spray dryer.Un procedimiento de fabricación de un producto vítreo para la estabilización de un material biológico que comprende las etapas de: i) mezclar (a) un primer material líquido que comprende un material biológico y capaz de formar un vidrio, en el que el primer material líquido comprende un ácido glutámico o sal del mismo, con (b) un segundo material que es un agente de soplado que experimenta descomposición y forma un gas cuando se calienta, en el que el segundo material comprende bicarbonato de amonio； y ii) provocar que el primer material forme un vidrio al mismo tiempo que el segundo material forma el gas； en el que una estructura vítrea en forma de partículas que contienen el gas se forma en un secador por pulverización.
