Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verwendung einer Antrodia cinnamomea Zusammensetzung bestehend aus 50–99% (W/W) Wasser/Alkoholextrakt von Feststoff kultivierten Myzel von Antrodia cinnamomea und 1–50% (W/W) Wasser/Alkoholextrakt von Schnittholz kultivierten Fruchtkörper von Antrodia cinnamomea für die Herstellung von Zusatzagenzien zur Chemotherapie. Die Antrodia cinnamomea Zusammensetzungen der vorliegenden Erfindung zeigen Effekte bei der Verbesserung von Anti-Krebs-Effekten, wenn diese mit Chemotherapie-Medikamenten kombiniert werden und reduzieren die Toxizität und Nebenwirkungen, die durch die Chemotherapie-Behandlung verursacht werden.
