To provide a skin care preparation containing a bleaching and skin- beautifying ingredient which have higher melamine production-inhibiting actions than those of conventional bleaching agents, are not deteriorated in the preparation and give high medicinal effects. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation contains only an ingredient (A) or both ingredients (A) and (B). The ingredient (A) is the extract of the fruits of blackcurrant. The ingredients (B) are one or more medicines selected from a beaching agent, an anti-oxidizing agent, an anti-inflammatory agent and a cell- activating agent and a ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION light-preventing agent.
