PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen monoxide production promoter and to provide a synthesis promoter for Heat shock protein 47 (HSP47) compounded with the nitrogen monoxide production promoter, a skin care preparation for promoting the synthesis of a type I collagen fiber bundle, and a skin care preparation for improving the function to recover/ameliorate biological functions.SOLUTION: It has been found that an L-ascorbic acid derivative expressed by general formula 1 has a function as a safely usable nitrogen monoxide production promoter, a function as an HSP47 synthesis promoter essential for forming a normal collagen caused by the nitrogen monoxide production promoting action, a function for promoting the synthesis of a type I collagen fiber bundle, and a function to recover/ameliorate the biological function caused by the nitrogen monoxide production promoting potential such as the promotion of blood flow.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】一酸化窒素産生促進剤を提供すること、また、その一酸化窒素産生促進剤を配合したHeat shock protein 47(HSP47)の合成促進剤、I型コラーゲン線維束の合成促進用皮膚外用剤、生体機能回復/改善機能改善用皮膚外用剤を提供すること。【解決手段】一般式1(化1)で示されるL-アスコルビン酸誘導体に、安全に使用できる一酸化窒素産生促進剤としての機能、その一酸化窒素産生促進作用に起因する正常なコラーゲン形成に必須なHSP47の合成促進剤としての機能及びI型コラーゲン線維束の合成促進機能、血流を促進するなど一酸化窒素産生促進能に起因する生体機能回復/改善機能を見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。【選択図】なし
