To provide a disposable lancing device of a novel structure, capable of securing safety by protection of a tip of a puncture needle and providing an adjustment mechanism of the puncture depth of the puncture needle with fewer components and in simpler structure.
SOLUTION: A protective cap 20 is provided to cover the tip 69 of the puncture needle 62, and the protective cap 20 is supported ON a housing 16 at a separate position from the projection route of the puncture needle 62 as it separates from the puncture needle 62. A stopper part 94 is thus formed where a lancet 18 is hit in puncture operation. The position of a movable end of the lancet 18 prescribed by hitting to the stopper part 94 is varied in accordance with the projection direction of the puncture needle 62. Projection quantity of the puncture needle 62 from the housing 16 is thus adjustable.
