PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device of an endoscope, capable of preventing fray of a strand and operation defects and failures such as disconnection due to it by reducing the tension of an operation wire on a traction side.
SOLUTION: Inside an operation part 10, the intermediate part of a flexible, thin and long connecting member 17 whose both ends are connected to two loosening removers 13U and 13D is bent back along an inversion guide member 18 provided on a position more on the distal end side than the loosening removers 13U and 13D, and by the operation that the loosening remover 13D interposed and connected to the operation wire 12D pulled by a driving pulley 15 is moved in a proximal end direction, the other loosening remover 13U is pulled by the connecting member 17 and moved in a distal end direction.
