To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a state display program for displaying an image that shows a processing state of the apparatus in a case where a predetermined operation is set to be executed when a predetermined time elapses after an ultrasonic probe rests.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a movement analysis unit, an image generation unit, a standstill time operation control unit, and a state display unit. The movement analysis unit executes a movement analysis on whether or not an ultrasonic probe for transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic wave to/from a subject is in a standstill state. The standstill time operation control unit executes a preset operation when a predetermined time elapses while the ultrasonic probe is in a standstill state.
