Provided is a composition for the oral cavity, comprising: 0.005-2 mass% inclusive, in terms of fluorine atoms, of component (A) which is at least one kind of fluorine-ion supplying compound selected from among sodium fluoride, ammonium fluoride, potassium fluoride, sodium monofluorophosphate and tin fluoride; 4-30 mass% inclusive of component (B) which comprises higher alcohols having 12-22 inclusive of carbon atoms and contains cetanol (b1) and stearyl alcohol (b2); 0.1-10 mass% inclusive of component (C) which is at least one kind of surfactant selected from among a nonionic surfactant (c1) selected from among a sorbitan fatty acid ester and a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester and an anionic surfactant (c2) selected from among a fatty acid having 12-22 inclusive of carbon atoms and a salt thereof; and component (D) which is water.
