Provided in the present invention is a sustained-release oral formulation, comprising a leaf extract of Ginkgo biloba and a sustained-release matrix system. According to the present invention, the sustained-release oral formulation of the leaf extract of Ginkgo biloba is capable of regulating the absorption degree of an active ingredient in vivo by a controllable release speed. The formulation exhibits continuous absorption by the delayed release speed of the formulation while penetrating through a gastrointestinal tract, when being injected in the human body, and continuously exhibits platelet activating factor (PAF) inhibitory activities and antioxidant activities. Therefore, the formulation is expected to improve a patient compliance of dosage by once-per-day dosage, and to have high effects of treatment.본 발명은 은행잎 추출물 및 서방성 매트릭스 시스템을 포함하는 서방성 경구용 제제를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 은행잎 추출물의 경구용 서방성 제제는 제어 가능한 방출 속도에 의해 활성성분의 생체내 흡수 정도를 조절할 수 있는데, 인체에 투여하였을 때 위장관을 통과하면서 지연된 방출 속도에 의해 지속적인 흡수를 나타내고 PAF(platelet activating factor) 억제작용 및 항산화작용을 지속적으로 나타내어 1일 1회 복용으로 환자의 복용순응도가 향상됨과 동시에 높은 치료효과를 기대할 수 있다.
