PURPOSE: A neck protecting unit for work is provided to maintain a right working posture and to prevent impact applied to a head after turning over the head. CONSTITUTION: A neck protecting unit for work includes a cervical spine supporting unit, a neck supporting unit(1), a waist supporting unit(2), and a connecting body(3). The waist supporting unit is settled in the cervical spine supporting part of a worker. A neck support includes a shoulder securely attached unit which is expanded from the cervical spine supporting part.본 발명에 따른 작업용 목보호대는 작업자의 눈높이보다 높은 곳을 바라보면서 작업하는 작업자를 위한 작업용 목보호대에 있어서, 작업자의 후두부가 안착되는 경추지지부와, 상기 경추지지부로부터 연장되어 작업자의 어깨 일부에 안착되는 어깨견착부를 포함하여 구성된 목지지부；를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.이에 의하여 머리를 뒤로 젖히면서 목뒷부분에 집중되는 머리의 하중을 분산시켜 목과 어깨의 피로를 경감시킬 수 있도록 하는 작업용 목보호대가 제공된다.
