PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable underpants type wearing article which is provided with a tape fastener that does not affect a wearers skin when touching it.SOLUTION: A tape fastener 18 has: a fixing part 41 which is formed by a base material sheet made of a fiber nonwoven fabric and is positioned on a skin non-facing surface side a free part 42 which is folded by at least one folding part 43 both side edge parts 18c which face a lengthwise direction E in a folded state and a width direction F that is orthogonal to the lengthwise direction E and extends almost parallel to a vertical direction Y in the width direction F and at least one temporary fixing part 61 which partially fixes the fixing part 41 and the free part 42 in the way that they are releasable.
