PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool suitable for protecting and rearing natural vegetation; and an effective method for protecting and rearing the natural vegetation. SOLUTION: A selective drawing is a partially enlarged view of drawing one example of this method. A basic net 3 is knitted by knitted fabric by yarn 1 knitted by chain stitch and in the Y axis direction juxtaposed in the X axis direction, and a flat string 2 alternately woven on the adjacent yarns in the Y axis direction. Raising yarn 4b is entangled with this basic net in a mesh coarser than this basic net. When covering the bare ground with a vegetation net constituted in this way, a seed coming flying (mainly, a native kind of seed) is captured by the raising yarn, and is reared by germination.
