PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic image processing apparatus and method capable of adequately reflecting, in already processed radiographic images, changes in composition caused by progression of a disease or treatment of a disease, particularly with respect to radiographic images with bone parts as diagnostic objects.SOLUTION: A bone part of a subject is determined to be a diagnostic object. Feature value calculation means 36 calculates, on the basis of soft part areas in a radiographic image G0 acquired by irradiating the subject with radiation, a feature value Din for the density of the radiographic image.
