PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that helps prevent or reduce false detection of radiation irradiation.SOLUTION: A radiographic imaging apparatus comprises a pixel array having a plurality of pixels for detecting radiation, a detection unit for detecting irradiation of radiation, and a control unit. When a measured value obtained from the detection unit exceeds a threshold in one of positive and negative ranges with respect to a reference value, the control unit determines that irradiation of radiation has started and provides control to capture a radiographic image.
