PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for organ regeneration suitable for industrial use using inducible pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) that can be easily produced, specifically a technique for reproducing the "own organ" from somatic cells such as skin according to personal characteristics.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing an organ or body part of interest derived from a heterologous mammal of an individual different from a non-human mammal in a living body of the nonhuman mammal having an abnormality in which generation of the organ or body part of interest does not occur in a development stage. The method comprises the steps of: (a) preparing induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) derived from the heterologous mammal; (b) transplanting the cells into a fertilized egg in a blastocyst stage of the non-human mammal; (c) developing the fertilized egg in the mother's womb of the non-human mammal to obtain offspring; and (d) acquiring the organ or body part of interest from the offspring individual.
