A protection unit is configured to suppress current flowing from the electrode unit (222, 223) to a user. The protection unit includes a case (225) accommodating the electrode unit (222, 223) with an opening through which the mist is sprayed by the atomization unit. The opening is sized to not allow a user's finger to pass. The protection unit further includes a current-limit circuit (231) to limit current discharged to a user via the atomization unit (215).
