PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of stable spraying-atomization by maintaining an electrode part at a proper temperature for resolving problems such as not being able to spray due to supercooling or excessive dew condensation of the electrode part in some operating states of a refrigerator, in regard to a refrigerator improving freshness retention by atomizing water by applying high voltage.

SOLUTION: The refrigerator is equipped with a heat-insulated and partitioned storage compartment, an atomizing device atomizing water contents by a high electric potential difference and spraying it into the storage compartment as mist, a voltage applying part generating the electric potential difference in the atomizing device, an atomization electrode electrically connected to the voltage applying part and a heating means for adjusting the temperature of a tip of the atomization electrode. Temperature control of the atomization electrode tip suiting atomization can be carried out.
