PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing the growth promoting effect of a plant cultivation method that uses artificial light irradiation to promote plant growth.SOLUTION: In a plant cultivation method including a process of carrying out red light irradiation to the plant and blue light irradiation to the plant separately in a certain period of time, the temperature in the plant cultivating environment during the red light irradiation period is set lower than that during the blue light irradiation period. Preferably, the temperature in the plant cultivating environment during the red light irradiation period is 12°C-19°C at 40%-90% moisture and that during the blue light irradiation period is 20°C-25°C at 40%-90% moisture.【課題】植物に人工光を照射して成長を促進させる植物栽培方法において、植物の育成効果をより一層高める方法を提供する。【解決手段】赤色光を植物に照射する手順と、青色光を植物に照射する手順とを一定期間内に別個独立に行う工程を含む植物栽培方法であって、赤色光を植物に照射する手順における植物栽培環境の温度を、青色光を植物に照射する手順における植物栽培環境の温度より低くする。好ましくは、赤色光の照射手順における温度を12℃~19℃、湿度を40%~90%とし、青色光の照射手順における温度を20℃~25℃、湿度を40%~90%とする。【選択図】 図1
