An operator positioning apparatus for a proton treatment system includes: a proton beam nozzle to emit a proton beam to a targeted region of a patient； a gantry wheel having a front face to support the proton beam nozzle to direct the proton beam to an isocenter of the gantry wheel corresponding to a center of the targeted region, wherein the gantry wheel rotates the proton beam nozzle around the isocenter； an active floor that horizontally translates across the front face of the gantry wheel, the active floor having an opening having a width through which the proton beam nozzle protrudes when the proton beam nozzle is located below the targeted region.Selon la présente invention, un appareil de positionnement d'opérateur pour un système de traitement par protons comprend : une buse de faisceau de protons pour émettre un faisceau de protons vers une région ciblée d'un patient； une roue de portique ayant une face avant pour soutenir la buse de faisceau de protons pour diriger le faisceau de protons vers un isocentre de la roue de portique correspondant à un centre la région ciblée, la roue de portique faisant tourner la buse de faisceau de protons autour de l'isocentre； un plancher actif qui se translate horizontalement de part et d'autre de la face avant de la roue de portique, le plancher actif ayant une ouverture ayant une largeur à travers laquelle la buse de faisceau de protons fait saillie lorsque la buse de faisceau de protons est positionnée au dessous de la région ciblée.
