The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing an animal feed or foodstuff comprising the steps of: (i) providing at least one first stream of material comprising a meat and/or fish emulsion, and at least one second stream of material comprising at least one gel-forming and/or gel-like substance, (ii) preferably continuously feeding the second stream of material into the first stream of material in the form of layers and/or coarsely dispersed in the form of droplets, (iii) solidifying at least the first stream of material contained in the combination of materials obtained in step (ii), and (iv) cutting the combination of materials obtained in step (iii) into slices with a thickness of about 0.6-6 mm, preferably 0.8-4 mm, even more preferably 0.9-3 mm； and also an animal feed or foodstuff manufactured by that process.La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'aliments ou de produits alimentaires pour animaux comprenant les étapes suivantes : (i) fourniture d'au moins un premier flux de matière comprenant une émulsion de viande et/ou de poisson, et au moins un second flux de matière comprenant au moins une substance gélifiante et/ou de type gel, (ii) introduction continue, de préférence, du second flux de matière dans le premier flux de matière sous forme de couches et/ou par dispersion grossière sous forme de gouttelettes, (iii) solidification au moins du premier flux de matière contenu dans la combinaison de matières obtenue à l'étape (ii), et (iv) découpe de la combinaison de matières obtenue à l'étape (iii) en tranches avec une épaisseur d'environ 0,6 à 6 mm, de préférence 0,8 à 4 mm, de préférence encore 0,9 à 3 mm.
