<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-raising protective material having favorable warm-keeping effect or heat-insulating effect on change in the exterior environment, light in weight and thereby easy to be laid, reusable, and optimum as a means for protecting plants from outside air. <；P>；SOLUTION: The plant-raising protective material includes fine hollow silica particles, has a powdery form, a slurry-like form, a sheet-like form, or the like, and is used for raising plants by a method of being closely attached to a branch of a tree, covering the surrounding of the plant or being put into the ground.
