PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for efficiently producing a fine particle dispersion liquid in a short period of time.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the fine particle dispersion liquid includes: a dissolution step for dissolving a hardly soluble medicine and dispersion stabilizer into a volatile organic solvent in a container 30 a stabilization step for evaporating and removing the organic solvent contained in a dissolution liquid obtained in the dissolution step, and yielding a pellet residue 1 by the removal of organic solvent so that the residue 1 is stabilized on the inner wall of the container 30 an irradiation step for pouring water 2 in the container 30 to immerse the residue 1 in the water 2, starring the water 2 by the rotation of a magnetic stirrer 51 to irradiate the residue 1 with a laser beam L output from a light irradiation part 20 in a state that the water 2 flows in the vicinity of the interface between the residue 1 and the water 2. With the steps, the residue 1 is crushed into fine particles, and the fine particles are dispersed in the water 2, so that the fine particle dispersion liquid is produced.
