PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oil cake and animal feed which inhibit proliferation of Salmonella, and a method for inhibiting proliferation of Salmonella.SOLUTION: The oil cake with a moisture content of less than 15 mass% is added with lactobacillus, and the animal feed includes the oil cake. The method for inhibiting proliferation of Salmonella in the oil cake or the animal feed, in the production of the oil cake whose moisture content is less than 15 mass% or the animal feed containing the oil cake, comprises adding the lactobacillus to the oil cake.
