PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-resin composite molded product which is provided with a resin member excellent in flame retardancy even when being thin and has high adhesion strength between an insert metallic member and a resin member, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a metal-resin composite molded product which comprises an insert metallic member and a resin member which is composed of a resin composition and is insert-molded on the insert metallic member, where at least a part of a surface in contact with the insert metallic member is subjected to physical treatment and/or chemical treatment. The resin composition contains (A) 100 pts.mass of a polyarylene sulfide resin, (B) 3 to 15 pts.mass of an epoxy group-containing olefin-based copolymer and (C) 0.3 to 5 pts.mass of a silicon compound.
