PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress giving uncomfortable feeling due to wetness to a wearer of an absorbent article.
SOLUTION: In the absorbent article having an absorber raw material having a highly absorbent resin, the cubic volume occupation ratio of the highly absorbent resin is higher in the end portions in a direction along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article than in the center portion of the above direction in the absorber raw material. The borders of the end portions and the center portion may be located at the folding portions of the absorbent article formed when the absorbent article is folded for packaging. Further, there may be scattered portions present on the folding portions in the scattered portions. The scattered portions is lower in stiffness than the periphery of the scattered portions, so that the absorbent article with the constitution can be easily folded such that the folding portions are formed.
