A signaling device for absorbent articles is disclosed. A signaling device isconfigured to be electrically connected to a wetness sensor contained in theabsorbent article. When a conductive substance is detected in the absorbentarticle, the wetness sensor is activated causing the signaling device to emitan audible signal. In accordance with the present disclosure, the signalingdevice is adjusted and configured such that the audible signal emits and adjustedso that the audible signal has a frequency or range of frequencies that maximizesperceived loudness in a particular environment.
