The present invention provides an oil-in-water type sunscreen cosmetic material, which can inhibit UV absorbers from being sticky, greasy and secondary attachment. The coating can be evenly coated without causing wrinkling, and its application gives a transparent, tender and moisturizing feeling. The oil-in-water type sunscreen cosmetic material of this invention contains the following components (A), (B), and (C): (A) oil-soluble UV absorber, (B) dextrin fatty acid ester, and (C) acrylic polymer, and satisfies the following conditions (1) ~ (3): (1) less than 5 mass% of (D) powder (2) the mass ratio A/B of (A) oil-soluble UV absorber to (B) dextrin fatty acid ester is above 2.5 and below 47 and (3) the mass ratio A/C of (A) oil-soluble UV absorber to (C) acrylic polymer is above 4.5 and below 35.本發明係提供一種水中油型防曬化妝料,其係抑制紫外線吸收劑的沾黏、黏膩、二次附著,且塗膜不會發生起皺、可均勻地塗佈、並具透明性的水嫩使用感與保濕感。本發明的水中油型防曬化妝料,係含有:(A)油溶性紫外線吸收劑、(B)糊精脂肪酸酯及(C)丙烯酸系聚合物,且滿足下述條件(1)~(3):(1)(D)粉體含有量係5質量%以下;(2)(A)油溶性紫外線吸收劑與(B)糊精脂肪酸酯的質量比(A/B)係2.5以上且47以下;(3)(A)油溶性紫外線吸收劑與(C)丙烯酸系聚合物的質量比(A/C)係4.5以上且35以下。
