Emulsion type cosmetic composition comprises: an aqueous phase； particles comprising at least one a hard wax, preferably an aqueous dispersion of particles of hard wax； at least one emulsifying system that is adapted to disperse the hard wax and comprises at least one nonionic surfactant； and a preservative consisting of (i) optionally substituted 6-10C-heterocyclic group, (ii) a saturated, optionally substituted (= 5C, preferably 3-5C) hydrocarbon chain, and (iii) polyunsaturated, optionally substituted (= 6C, preferably 3-6C) hydrocarbon chain.
