Disclosed the use of a pharmaceutical composition comprising acetaminophen in combination with either (1) one or more antidiuretic agents (e.g. desmopressin), or (2) one or more spasmolytics, or (3) an antimuscarinic agent selected from the group consisting of oxybutynin, solifenacin, darifenacin and atropine, in the manufacture of a medicament for treating nocturia in a subject in need thereof, wherein said pharmaceutical composition is formulated in an extended-release formulation and wherein said acetaminophen is formulated for administration at a daily dose of 1 mg to 2000 mg.
