Systems and methods for performing an electrocardiogram are described herein. The system may include one or more electrode bands, data recorders, connectors, one or more computing platforms, and / or other components. The electrode strip may include a plurality of electrodes configured to provide a signal carrying information associated with the electrocardiogram. The plurality of electrodes may be incorporated in the electrode strip. The data recorder may be configured to receive and record information associated with the electrocardiogram. Information associated with the electrocardiogram may be communicated via a connector from the electrode strip to the data recorder. The connector may include a connector that does not have a cable. In some embodiments, information associated with the electrocardiogram may be transmitted to one or more computing platforms.
