PURPOSE: A heating mat having a drivable heater is provided to radiate various frequency bands of lights and to control radiation range, radiation time, and radiation temperature. CONSTITUTION: A heating mat comprises: a heater(202) radiating the light of near infrared ray or far infrared ray frequency band； a heating driving part(204) which drives the heater in the longitudinal direction of the heating mat； and a controller(206) which controls power provided to the heater and transfers a control command to the heating driving part in order to drive the heater. The heating mat includes an upper plate. The upper plate is formed on the top of the heater and transfers the light radiated from the heater upward.본 발명은 원적외선을 방출하는 온열 매트에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 원적외선의 치료효과를 증대시키기 위한 온열 매트 및 온열 매트의 구동방법에 관한 것이다.이를 위해 본 발명의 온열 매트는 근적외선 또는 원적외선 주파수 대역의 빛을 방사하는 발열부, 상기 발열부를 온열 매트의 길이 방향으로 구동시키는 발열 구동부, 상기 발열부로 공급되는 전원을 제어하며, 상기 발열부를 구동시키기 위해 상기 발열 구동부로 제어 명령을 전달하는 제어부를 포함한다.
