PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a combine, which can improve a threshing capability and a grain-storing capability without enlarging the size.SOLUTION: The combine has a grain-lifting device 57, 159 for conveying clean grains to a grain tank 7 after threshed and graded, and a tailings-returning device 58, 160 for returning tailings to a threshing device 5 after threshed and graded, and having a retreating device 59 for retreating the tailings on the conveying end side of the tailings-returning device 58, 160. The grain-lifting device 57, 159 and the tailings-returning device 58, 160 are arranged and longitudinally extended in the order of the grain-lifting device 57, 159 and the tailings-returning device 58, 160 between the threshing device 5 and the grain tank 7.
