PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus capable of performing sure threshing work while suppressing husking of grains and requiring decreased energy for threshing work compared with conventional threshing apparatuses.SOLUTION: The threshing apparatus is provided with a first shattering device 1 colliding with the ear tip of a supplied culm or its vicinity in a direction crossing with the culm to apply shattering action and a second shattering device 2 placed at the downstream side of the flying direction of grains flipped by the action of the first shattering device 1 and colliding with the flipped grains.
