PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy visual distinction of whether or not a patient having a matching family name exists and whether or not a patient having matching family and given names exists, and to allow easy visual distinction of whether or not a patient having a similar family name or similar family and given names exists.SOLUTION: When a patient having a matching family name or matching family and given names exists, the name display device displays the matching part of the patients name in a different manner from when there is no patients having a matching name. In addition, it displays a warning when patients having a matching family name or matching family and given names do not exist but a patient having a similar family name or similar family and given names exists.
