PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and an organ transplantation method capable of storing properly an organ with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A storage device 1 comprises: a container 2 for storing a corpse X a coolant 5 which is supplied to the container 2 for cooling the corpse X and a temperature adjustment part 7 for adjusting the temperature of the coolant 5 according to the temperature of the corpse X. The temperature adjustment part 7 lowers the temperature of the coolant 5 as the temperature of the corpse X is higher, and stores the corpse X in a range of -3.0°C-0°C.
