SOLUTION: The liquid atomizing unit includes a cylindrical body 3 disposed in the vertical direction with an upper end opening as an air outlet 1 and a lower end opening as an air inlet 2 a rotating shaft 4 disposed in the vertical direction within the cylindrical body 3 a plurality of rotary plates 5-8 fixed in the axial direction of the rotating shaft 4 at prescribed intervals a liquid feeding part 9 for feeding liquid onto the upper surface of the rotary plate 5 ON the upper stage among the plurality of rotary plates 5-8 and liquid re-feeding parts 10-12 for guiding the liquid within the cylindrical body 3 onto the upper surface of the rotary plates 6-8 ON the lower stages. Among the plurality of rotary plates 6-8, the diameter of the rotary plate 8 ON the lowermost stage is smaller than those of the rotary plates 5-7 above.
