The landscape edgingsystem includes an edge piece having a first end and a second end, the edgepiece havinga substantially vertical wall and a base, the base comprising a first footingat the first endand a second footing at the second end, the first footing being spaced apartfrom thesecond footing, the first and second footings having a stake opening, thefirst end havingan inwardly stepped section on the wall and a stepped up section on the base.A methodof installing the landscape edging system is also described.
