PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice planter including a snow removal attachment capable of securely removing snow even on a frozen road surface, and a snow removal method.SOLUTION: A snow removal attachment 1 is mounted on a rice planter.The snow removal attachment 1 includes: a snow collector 30 collecting snow on a road surface a snow thrower 40 discharging the snow collected by the snow collector 30 in a prescribed direction and a support frame 50 to which the snow collector 30 and the snow thrower 40 are fixed.
