PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle assembly which can reduce the size of a protector.SOLUTION: A needle assembly includes a needle having a needle tip, a needle hub, and a protector. The protector is provided on the needle hub in a manner to be relatively displaced between a non-protection position where the needle is exposed and a protection position where the needle is covered to protect the needle tip, and has: a protector body where an opening is formed to be long in accordance with the needle and which covers the needle tip by inserting the needle from the opening by relatively displacing the protector from the non-protection position to the protection position and a nail-like part which is provided on the protector body, is bent by the needle in relatively displacing the protector from the non-protection position to the protection position to allow the needle to advance to the inside of the protector body, and elastically returns to lock the needle when the needle enters the inside of the protector body for preventing the needle from being separated from the inside of the protector body. The nail-like part protrudes obliquely from the protector body and extends in a width direction of the opening to cross the opening and in a longitudinal direction of the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 プロテクタの小型化を図ることができる針組立体を提供する。【解決手段】 針組立体は、針先を有している針と、針ハブと、プロテクタとを備え、プロテクタは、針が露出する非保護位置と針を覆って針先を保護される保護位置との間で相対変位可能に針ハブに設けられ一方、針に合せて長尺に形成される開口が形成され、プロテクタを非保護位置から保護位置に相対変位させることによって開口から中に針が入れられて針先を覆うプロテクタ本体と、プロテクタを非保護位置から保護位置に相対変位させる際に針によって撓まされて針がプロテクタ本体内に進むことを許容し、且つ針がプロテクタ本体内に入ると弾性復帰して針を係止してプロテクタ本体内から針が離脱することを阻止するように、プロテクタ本体に設けられている爪状部とを有し、爪状部は、プロテクタ本体から斜めに突出し、開口を横切るように開口の幅方向に延び且つ開口の長手方向に延びている。【選択図】 図2
