PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knapsack bush cutter that can prevent a decrease in work efficiency.SOLUTION: A motor 3 is fixed to a knapsack frame so that the direction cannot be changed, while an output shaft 31 is directed to the opposite side of a rising part of the knapsack frame. The power of the output shaft 31 is transmitted to a transmission shaft 8 projecting in the direction axially deflected to an axis line of the output shaft 31 by a direction converter 5. The direction converter 5 is connected to the motor 3 so that the transmission shaft 8 can be turned around the axis line of the output shaft 31. Thereby, when a worker handles a main rod 7 and works through a flexible shaft 6, the motor 3 is fixed to a knapsack frame 2 so that the direction cannot be changed and is prevented from swinging to right and left. Then, the transmission shaft 8 is turned around the axis line of the output shaft 31 using the direction converter 5, and thereby the flexible shaft 6 can be handled from either of the right and left of the workers body, while the motor 3 is fixed to the knapsack frame 2.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】作業効率の低下を抑制できる背負式刈払機を提供すること。【解決手段】原動機3を、出力軸31を背負枠の起立部と反対側に向けた状態で、背負枠にその向きを変えられないように固定する。出力軸31の動力を、方向変換機5により、出力軸31の軸線の軸線と偏向した方向に突出する伝動軸8に伝える。方向変換機5を、伝動軸8が出力軸31の軸線を中心に回動可能なように、原動機3に接続する。これにより、作業者がフレキシブルシャフト6を介し主杆7を取回して作業を行うときに、原動機3をその向きが変えられないように背負枠2に固定した状態とし、左右に振られることを防止する。このとき、方向変換機5により伝動軸8を出力軸31の軸線を中心に回動させることにより、原動機3を背負枠2に固定した状態で、フレキシブルシャフト6を作業者の体の左右いずれからも取回すことができるようにする。【選択図】図3
