PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove a fixed pattern noise precisely with a simple configuration.
SOLUTION: In a fixed pattern noise removing unit, a timing controller creates a plurality of image signals to an imaging device at an exposure time of 100-500 ns. An A/D converter 25 converts the image signal into image data. An image processing part 30 has a balancing circuit 31, a discrimination circuit 32, and an FPN correcting circuit 33. The balancing circuit 31 balances the image signal of the same exposure time for each pixel. The discrimination circuit 32 discriminates whether or not a difference between a maximum and a minimum of a data level of the balanced average false black pixel data is less than a threshold value. When the difference is less than the threshold value, the average false black pixel data of the data level of the minimum is used as noise data and is stored in a DRAM 27. The FPN correcting circuit 33 removes an FPN from imaging pixel data by use of the noise data.
