The present invention relates to a bar type cautery device which burns a moxa bar to provide thermal stimulation to a predetermined portion of the body and, more specifically, to a technical field of a bar type cautery device which includes a cylindrical moxa bar using moxa as a major material and a flame retardant and a tubular adjustment part surrounding the outer circumferential surface of the moxa bar and moving in the longitudinal direction of the moxa bar, such that the air supplied through the outer circumferential surface is blocked when the moxa bar is burned, thereby adjusting the burning speed of the moxa bar.
