PURPOSE: An ultrasonograph and an examination method thereof are provided to carry out a uniform ultrasonography by being provided a surface imaging jig.CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonograph includes an ultrasonography terminal (1) and a probe (310). The probe (310) is connected to the ultrasonography terminal. The ultrasonograph is equipped with a skin surface imaging unit which is capable of performing a surface imaging examination on a three-dimensionally curved area to be examined. The skin surface imaging unit includes a surface imaging jig (100), and a sonolucent fluid (200). The surface imaging jig (100) accommodates an examination unit, and comprises the probe which is combined with the surface imaging jig.
