PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify and appropriately process projection data output from a sensor which has been polarized.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an X-ray CT (Computed Tomography) apparatus comprises a plurality of photon-counting detectors and a processing circuit. The photon-counting detectors capture incident X-ray photons emitted from an X-ray source to acquire projection data.
