PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic photographing apparatus carrying out photographing with a low light quantity without changing sensitivity of an imaging means and causing no image degradation even in varying the magnification.
SOLUTION: The ophthalmologic photographing apparatus includes a photographing optical system for imaging the same range of a fundus image of the eye to be examined on an imaging element 22a with different imaging magnification fundus imaging means 22 converting the fundus image imaged on the imaging element 22a into digital image data fundus illuminating means for illuminating the fundus of the eye with the quantity of light in association with the reduction of the imaging magnification and image control means 36 extracting and storing a specific region including the fundus image, from the image data according to the imaging magnification.
